Indexing blockers
Pages set to noindex, a robots.txt that blocks crawling, and whether your XML sitemap exists and lists your pages.
Titles and descriptions
Missing or duplicate page titles, missing meta descriptions, and descriptions long enough to be cut off.
Headings
Pages without an H1 and pages with more than one.
Canonical links
Missing canonicals and canonicals that point to another website.
Structured data
Organization or WebSite data on the home page, Article data on blog posts, and on stores, Product data with price, availability and ratings.
Social sharing tags
Open Graph titles and images, which control how shared links look.
Images, language and mobile
Images without alt text, pages without a declared language, and pages without a mobile viewport tag.
Broken internal links
Every internal link found on the tested pages is requested, up to 60, and the ones that fail are listed with the page that links to them.

How the report is made

Your five key pages and up to 20 more from your sitemap are loaded in Chromium and read after JavaScript runs.

robots.txt and your sitemap are fetched from your domain, and internal links are requested to check their status.

Each finding is written up with the fix for your platform and emailed to you.

Will this improve my rankings?
It fixes technical problems that can keep pages out of search or make results look worse. Rankings depend on many other things, so no one can promise a change in position.
Do you need access to Google Search Console?
No. Everything is read from your public pages. The report points out where Search Console can confirm a fix.
Which structured data does it check?
Organization or WebSite data on the home page and Article data on blog posts for every site. On stores it also checks product pages for Product data with price and availability, and whether review ratings are included.
How many links are checked?
Up to 60 unique internal links found on the tested pages. Cart, account, search and add-to-cart links are skipped.
